We have our own artwork, can you help us with the paper and printing?

What printing methods do you offer?

We offer digital full-color printing, digital white/gold/silver, offset, thermography, letterpress, foil stamping, embossing, debosssing, and engraving.

How long does the process take for custom invitations?

Our average couple spends about $3,000 on a custom invitation suite with an average of 3 months from start to completion/mail by date.

Initial concepts are presented within 7-10 business days from the signed contract, completed event worksheet, and paid retainer.

Production can take anywhere from 1-4 weeks. Assume additional days with specialty printing methods such as thermography, foil stamping, letterpress, and emboss/deboss; plus any digital personalization or hand calligraphy, and assembly.

How long does the process take for commercial orders? (Flyers, Handbills, EDDMs, Business Cards, Letterhead, Mailing Envelopes, etc.)

Once we receive payment and print-ready files:

Digital production can take anywhere between 2-3 business days with our standard in-house papers OR once the special order paper has been received. There is a minimum of 5-8 business days for special order papers to arrive at our studio. Plus, additional days for any bindery.

Any specialty printing such as offset, thermography, foil stamping, letterpress, emboss/deboss, etc. can take anywhere between 10 up to 23 business days with special order paper.

I'm not sure how to word my invitations or address a guest properly, what is proper word etiquette?

Not to worry, we’ve got you covered! If you’re a custom design client of ours, we’ll take care of these details for you but you can read up on our many years of etiquette knowledge here.

Do you handle postage and delivery of invitations?

We can proudly say that we offer a full service from start to finish of your custom invitations.

If there’s any ribbon, paper band, wax seals, envelope liner etc. we’ll assemble the invitation suite pieces to perfection. 

If there are any events where only certain guests are invited to we’ll match those specific pieces to the right guests.

We’ll stuff the complete invitation suite into the mailing envelope and seal them closed with our double-sided adhesive tape.

We’ll coordinate and order the perfect postage stamps and apply them to the rsvp envelopes and/or mailing envelopes.

Our team will even take them all the way to the post office and personally hand cancel the envelopes for you.

Do you create “Day Of” details?

We often design and print matching paper goods for your special day. We can produce welcome bag inserts, travel itineraries, ceremony programs, welcome/escort signs, escort/place cards, menus, table signage, cocktail napkins etc. Call our studio for more information on how we can assist you because it’s all in the details!

I don’t live in the Salt Lake City area but love your work, can we still work together?

What is your typical turnaround for production?

Digital printing is 5-8 business days.

Offset Printing is 8-10 business days.

Offset w/Thermography is 10-12 business days.

Letterpress is 14-16 business days.

Foil Stamping is 14-16 business days.

Engraving is 18-20 business days.

Combination Digital and Foil is 10-12 business days.

Combination Letterpress and Foil is 18-22 business days.

Assembly is dependent on complexity.

Stuffing, Stamping and Mailing are dependent on complexity.

How much is the average cost of custom invitations?

Every suite has individual uniqueness which is hard to quantify for an average amount. Our average couple spends about $3,000 on a custom invitation suite with an average of 3-6 months from start to completion.

When should we book with you for a custom design?

As soon as possible but a minimum of 5+ months ahead of the mailing date.

Do I get a printed proof before I order my custom order?

A physical sample of your invitation is not a part of our quoted price. The creation of a physical sample requires all of the paper to be ordered, plates made, dies created, etc., and is a fee in addition to the approved quote.

Can I get paper and printing samples?

We have a limited number of invitation suite samples to send. Depending on what you’re looking for we have samples of our printing methods and a small selection of paper swatches to choose from ready to mail.
